Can an extra bed/cot be placed in the room?

Our Classic, Deluxe and Suite categories can accommodate rollaway beds for children, and baby cots. Please make sure to let the team know at reservation stage if you require any additional bedding.

Does the hotel have a pool?

There isn’t a pool on the Estate, however guests are most welcome to use the pool at our sister property The Galmont for a preferential rate.

How far is the hotel from the city?

Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate is approximately 10 minutes from the city centre, depending on traffic.

Is the hotel suitable for children?

Certainly, children are very welcome. We have a range of interconnecting rooms and suites, with a great kids menu in The Abbey Movie Theatre.

Are Accessible rooms available?

We have a limited number of accessible rooms, please call us directly on 091519600 to check availability prior to booking.

Is Parking available?

Complimentary parking is available for all hotel residents.

How can I guarantee a view of Lough Corrib?

Our Lake View Deluxe rooms guarantee fabulous views across the golf course and Lough Corrib.

Can I take professional pictures at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate?

The Management welcomes a range of guests and patrons onto the hotel and estate grounds. If you are looking to capture professional imagery of Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate this would need to be booked in advance by contacting our Events team. Our Events team are on hand to ensure the correct areas are set up and ready while at the same time ensuring that there is minimum impact to other patrons and hotel guests. 

If you have your Wedding ceremony booked at Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate, our Wedding team will also advise of the most optimal locations for photographs and video recordings, again ensuring there is minimum impact to other patrons and hotel guests. 

Kindly note that a location fee will be applied for photography within the hotel and estate grounds. 

Kindly note that photography that is not pre-booked with our Weddings and Events Department, will not be permitted.   

 

Is Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate a pet-friendly Hotel?

Yes, Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate offers a select number of dog friendly rooms which can cater for a maximum of one dog per room.

There will be a €40.00 charge to have your dog stay with us per night; we will retain a €500.00 deposit on check in that is separate to any pre authorisation for your dog. We will retain this money until the day of departure once your room has been inspected by our Accommodation Manager, the money will be refunded if no damage is found.
